Duluth Breweries

Duluth Breweries
Duluth and the surrounding area, is one of the best beer scenes in the Midwest. In fact, former Duluth Mayor, Don Ness, claimed Duluth as the “Microbrewery Capital of the Universe.” While that may be a stretch, it is altogether true that Fitger’s Brewhouse, the first brew pub in Northern Minnesota and the sole establishment of it’s kind in Duluth for years, has been joined by a dozen (at last count!) or more new breweries and brew pubs. While precise recipes are tightly held Trade Secrets, a common denominator is Lake Superior Water, which is, after all, exactly that.
